Tara Kamradt

 

Tara Kamradt represents companies in a variety of industries in general corporate and transactional matters related to formation, growth, succession planning and preparation for sale or other liquidation events. In the healthcare industry, her clients have included physician practices, dialysi companies, sleep centers, home health businesses and medical device manufacturers. She has significant experience in structuring joint venture relationships, medical director agreements, pharmaceutical and disposable supply contracts and other commercial arrangements with third parties.

James Buda

Jim Buda is senior vice president of the Legal Services Division at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Ill. He is also chief legal officer of Caterpillar Inc.

Buda joined Caterpillar in 1987 as an attorney in the legal department. He has served in a number of senior corporate attorney positions and was named associate general counsel in 1996. In 1999, Buda assumed the position of associate general counsel for the Legal Services Division in the United Kingdom legal office. He has held his current position since 2001.

Buda has a bachelor's degree from Ball State University, a law degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed a Harvard University executive program.

Meredith Ritchie

Meredith Ritchie, a Chicago native, graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and obtained her JD from DePaul College of Law in Chicago.

Meredith has had a diverse legal career in Chicago starting out in private practice where she litigated tort actions. A large portion of her litigation included defending a Fortune 100 petroleum company.

Meredith then served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County, Illinois in both the civil and criminal divisions. She then took her experience to the State of Illinois where she contributed to the Illinois Department of Public Aid and then served as Deputy General Counsel to the Department of Central Management Services.

Mara Georges

Mara Georges focuses her practice on federal, state and local governmental issues, including zoning, land use and planning, municipal finance, government relations and economic and business development. Ms. Georges provides counsel to corporations and individuals with matters before government boards, commissions, agencies and legislatures. She also advises on legislative development, regulatory affairs and public to private sector partnerships.

Nicole Nehama Auerbach

Nicole Nehama Auerbach is one of the founding members of Valorem Law Group (www.valoremlaw.com), a business litigation firm formed in January 2008 with a focus on providing alternative billing arrangements to clients.  Nicole handles commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts around the country.  She also represents clients in arbitrations, mediations, appellate work and provides “second opinions” to clients facing key strategic issues in lawsuits.  Prior to forming Valorem, she practiced for nearly 15 years in the Chicago office of Katten Muchin Rosenman, where she was a partner in the litigation department.

Victoria Donati

Ms. Donati has served in her current position since September 2008, having previously served as outside counsel for EDI and CBH since 1994. Ms. Donati’s position entails oversight, coordination and handling of all aspects of the companies’ legal and compliance needs. She is active with virtually every department and works closely with the senior executive and management teams, as well as with key outside counsel to provide a cohesive and effective array of legal and compliance services.
